I like the surprising nature of the plot. A former pastor and now truck driver, Mack sounds like a compelling character, who has ended up into a very difficult maze. I wonder what this hitchhiker Ricky is up to? I can’t wait to find out how this story unfolds!

Thank you for this review, it certainly got me interested of the story.

There's a saying that one should never judge a book by its cover. I did just that when I started reading the review and instantly decided that this isn't the book for me. However you had me at suspense level. I love such books that have the ability to keep readers guessing till the end and presents a set of scenarios that have you scratching your head. I am keen to know Mack's story and would love to give this book a go. Damon good review.

I am not sure exactly what is happening in this book. Mack and Ricky seem to have a difficult relationship.

I am not religious person and rarely can be persuaded to read anything faith related, in fact the last such exception was TV-series "Preacher". Unfortunately, this book's synopsis failed to inspire me to read it, therefore I will have to pass this one, but still would like to congratulate author on BOTD!

I think the idea of a pastor becoming a truck driver is really original because they are very opposite professions in every sense. I like that the author developed the characters in the novel at a high level.

Reading your review, I'm certainly curious about all the things that could go wrong in a delivery trip.

This book seems to have a lot of good twists and surprise characters. I personally don’t think I could ever pick up a hitchhiker. Congratulations on book of the day!

This book comes across as an exciting story and I love the idea of a pastor-turned-truck-driver encountering a whole lot of terrifying incidents on his way to Chicago to make a meat delivery. The fact that this book is filled with suspense as well as illustrating God's ability to salvage every situation is intriguing. Thanks for the review!

I have no interest whatsoever in Christian literature, so I will be taking a pass on this. After reading several pages, I can attest that this book isn't for me. However, for those who enjoy this genre of literature, I hope they find it a worthwhile read. Congratulations to the author for achieving BOTD status.

I really enjoyed reading this review and got to know about its plot and twists. The plot of the book seems quite interesting with Ricky being a bit shady and it seems like he's hiding something from mack. The reviewer has done a great job here.

Your review is as suspenseful as the story itself. How does an innocently sounding action as a former pastor turned truck driver giving his fellow traveller a ride turn terrifying? I guess there is only one way to find out. Thanks for your excellent review.

I'm not into books related to religion so I'll pass. Surely other readers will enjoy it though.

This sounds like an interesting thriller read. As you mentioned, naming the characters based on their traits seems so simple yet so symbolic in a sense. Great review! Thanks.
