Curby is a story of an unusual family bond without the typical blood relations and that is true, also presenting the bundle surprise to the girlfriend who's wish was to be a mother she never got to be is indeed a heartwarming surprise. However what broke my heart along the way is when l saw in the story Sandra died, speechless. That alone wants me to find out what Nick will tell the boy after three years of Sandra's death or she died before three years as mentioned earlier. Indeed a painful story. :(

It's sad that some aspects were left unexplored because the premise is heartwarming and original and it was worth it to explore it from all angles. But it still seems like a book worth reading and full of meaningful subjects.
Great review!

Quite a lovely story but I don't think I would be interested in such book. Having to go to court for custody of a kid isn't something I'd be excited about. Your review is very detailed and straightforward. I commend it.

This sounds like a very heartwarming book. Parental love is very beautiful even if you are not related by blood. I really want to check this book out. Thanks for the review!

"Curby is a story of an unusual family bond without the typical blood relations. It also explores various forms of romance, the effects of toxic relationships, and the system that governs child protection and adoption".-When
Choosing a book to read, I often go for the shorter explanations which save time. This is one of those great ones in a nutshell. "The story misses some elements like emotions and in-depth plot development, but it has suspense and a captivating series of events".- which is why I too can disregard the faults & have decided to read the book. Thanks for an incredible review!

Curby must be a lucky child by someone like Nick founding him. I like how Nick fought for Curby even though he isn't the father.

The story exposes the dilemma of whether Nick was right to take the child home or should hand him over to the proper authorities. After a bond of affection is formed, everything is more difficult. The plot includes an appealing dash of mystery and detective work. Sounds interesting.

Our past is very powerful. It is able to determine our present and future. I have been around some little ones and are in total agreement. I must say that they are truly capable of warming a person's heart. I think that this story is unique and a good read too. Thanks for your review.

I think I'll love this book because I find the premise of the story to be heartwarming. I would like to read how Cindy will love and treasure Curby for the last three years of her life.
Congratulations to the author for BOTD!
