Great review. I love the fact that the majority of this book takes place in a short period of time. It sounds just like something I would enjoy reading. Thanks so much for sharing.

Excellent review! Sounds like the events of a very memorable night follow these kids for much longer... I'm sure we all have had situations that compare. As you said, it seems that the attitudes of the time period were captured pretty accurately as well.

This seems like a book that will appeal to a lot of readers. I also enjoy books that take place over a short period of time. Looking forward to reading the sample for this!

In this period of modernization, it is great to read stories which will take you to a journey back in time. I have seen the sample too and the story so hard to follow and understand.Congrats to the author for being able to construct a story with a good plot. We, the readers, will have a great time reading the book!

I was very disappointed when the sample of this book ended. I really hoped that there was going to be a few more pages to appease my curiosity of where this book was going. Excellent character development in a short period of time.

OP's ending comment,
recommend this book to those who would enjoy taking a short trip back in time a few decades
, says it all... a shout out to a simpler time (although they/we likely didn't think so at the time).

I love reading books which make me wonder whether it's a fiction or a real life incident. Based on your review, I believe this book might become my favorite.

Good job on the review. :) I haven't read a lot of books where the majority of the book takes place in one day, so I find that interesting. Seems like a great read for anyone who likes teenage stories that take place in the past.

Great job on this review. You really gave some insight into this story. When I read the sample pages it left a lot of room for interpretation. After reading the description I got a little better understanding about the book; however, after reading your review, specifically the parts with the description, it showed that this is a book I would most likely enjoy reading. Again, great job on this review.
