Well written review! I don't know if this book is completely up my alley but it does sound interesting. I might end up reading it simply because I am curious about how the author portrays their this triangle of relationships. I've never read a book centered around a gay relationship so I might see how it's written.Love is love no matter who you are so I can probably still relate to the love story in some way.

I have yet to read a same sex relationship book, I hadn't really felt the desire to. This book, though, sounds like one worth read regardless of the type of relationship.

From the description, in this review, it sounds like the characters come alive and I like that the secondary characters are well described. I also appreciate the mention of this being about gay love. I realize love is not bound by orientation and that is okay with me. It sounds like a good buck but I am reluctant to read it because I get the impression that it will be an emotionally saddening read. Excellent review overall.

Thanks for the review! As far as the aspect of the book involving same-sex couples, I understand that some readers might feel uncomfortable about reading such things. Also, it doesn't sound as though this is a spoiler so much as simply a basic trait of the characters. So, it's not as though you're giving something away that would spoil the reader.

On the other hand, there are also readers out there who are either actively looking for positive portrayals of gay characters, or at least wouldn't mind them. Letting those readers know that this is such a book helps market it to those readers. Either way, it's not a bad thing to give readers a heads-up about it.
