Seems to be an interesting book, but I don't know if I would read it or not. Anyway thanks for such a wonderful review.

I just read the sample. Heidi Martin has a good flow, makes the reading simple. From the beginning, you catch a glimpse of the sibling rivalry, between Julia and Anna, the mommy-knows-best attitude with Fredrick's mom. The Refuge by Heidi Martin is a believable story all in all from the start.

Thanks for your review! I can definitely relate to a story about personal growth, second chances and spirituality, but it's not something I'd want to read about. I prefer more action in my stories.

Thanks for the thoughtful review, and congrats to the author for making BOTD! Unfortunately I am not a romance reader, so I will pass on this one, but I hope others pick it up.

The Refuge presents very realistic view of life and of a genuine search for life's meaning. Good work

Anna being a partner in her law firm.frederick was a good thing that happened to her but she started having problems after they lost their unborn baby and she didn't want to face it so decided to bury herself in work .her mother _in_law is so self centered and didn't like Anna at all.Frederick is quite the gentleman,he defends his wife from his mom ...it's really an amazing book .would give it 4out of 4 stars .

This was a great review. Though I'm not sure this is the type of book I normally go for, your review and the fact that the book doesn't strictly fit into any category has encouraged me to check it out.

Thank you for your thorough review. The storyline sounds like an interesting read. The main
character's actions seem logical when she decides to make the effort to change her lifestyle
to one that doesn't cause her so much stress.

A book about child loss and the grief resulting from it can be a tough read. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
