The book seems very exciting. I bought it a while ago but haven't read it yet. Christian Ladies of Wrestling is a charming combination and walloping the evil out of women sinners does not sound very christian-like. It will be interesting to read this book and follow the events of the story. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

One can have a lot of entertainment and comical moments from the numerous misadventures of the protagonist by reading the book "Lights Out Lizzie" by James Hanna. Zany characters and a fantastical story makes it attractive.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

The review of the book Lights Out Lizzie by James Hanna left a lasting impression on me—especially the character of Lizzie herself, who’s both haunting and heartbreakingly real. Her fragmented grip on reality made me question how society treats those on the margins. The scenes with Buddy, and how he tries (and sometimes fails) to understand her world, felt deeply personal. It’s not just a story about mental illness or institutional life—it’s about the quiet desperation people carry and the thin line between sanity and chaos. Lizzie’s voice still echoes in my head, and honestly, I don't think I'll forget her.

Based on the sample and the engaging review, I am excited to delve into Gertie's journey in "Lights Out Lizzie" by James Hanna. In this narrative, Gertie joins a Christian wrestling group responsible for absolving her and other women from their sins. The book presents a humorous perspective of good versus evil, and I wonder which side Gertie is battling for. Congrats to the author on BOTD status.

Lights out lizzie by James hannah is a widely entertaining blend of comedy and thriller that follows the journey of Gertie Mcdowell, a young woman navigating unexpected twists in her pursuit of fame. From joining a wrestling troupe with a Christian twist to performing for American troops in Afghanistan, all while grappling with her identity and survival. Packed with humor, action and cultural clashes, Hannah crafts a story that is both thought-provoking and laugh-out-loud funny. A very good read.

A Christian wrestling group? Now that's a story if I have ever seen one! The uniqueness of the characters, as well as the humor throughout the book, will make for a comedic read. Thanks for the review!

The concept and plot if the story is quite unique and the funny indisyncratic behaviour of characters to dangerous events, keeps the humour alive till the end. I look forward to having a great time reading the book. Thank you for a beautiful review!

The author uses humour and a ludicrous plot-line to create a thoroughly entertaining book. The main character is funny, sassy, and a joy to read. Her forte is not her intelligence, but nativity and thoughtlessness add to her charm. She has a unique way of analysing and approaching difficult situations in her charismatic style. She expresses herself uniquely, and her reactions to dangerous events are hilarious. All the characters in the book are original and eccentric, making the book captivating and refreshing.
- Humor is always necessary and this is coupled with nativity, thoughtlessness(not intelligence) and eccentricity, which make it unique. Hallelujah, I shall read this in the morning. Thank you for a thoughtful review.

Thanks for your review! I like how you described Gertie as funny and unique, and how the story mixes humor with wild adventures. The Christian wrestling troupe sounds both strange and interesting. You made the book sound fun and worth checking out!

The writing is quirky and engaging, and the author's imagination is impressive. The Christian wrestling skits were a highlight for me, simply brilliant! Definitely not my cup of tea, because I was never even the slightest interested in the world of wrestling. Moreover, I am extremely surprised that Christian women could be involved in such an activity, since it sounds like an oxymoron to me.

The humorous and eccentric concept of wrestling the sins away is intriguing, and I find the idea unique. The sisterhood between the two strong female leads, dysfunctional as they are, is another interesting fact about the book. I'm looking forward to reading it.
