I actually enjoyed reading the book itself, as I am not used to audiobooks. It is true that Sarah is one memorable character. Thanks for the review.

I read this book and realized I'm not a fan of historical fiction. I didn't like most of the characters being old. I prefer a much younger pool. Congrats on botd. Great review though.

I'm excited to read this book for the mystery surrounding Sarah's sudden appearance and disappearance, the drawing of the extinct bear and the puzzling artefact.

Although I am not interested in the subject matters of this book, native legends and mysticism, I enjoyed reading this review.
Congratulations, BOTD.

The author narrates the story of Sarah, a 13-year-old girl whose father had no idea of her existence until she was dropped off at his doorstep. An excursion to visit Sarah's grandfather's gravesite reveals surprising secrets and leads to the disappearance of Sarah.

Sarah is a wonderful character in the story. The teenage girl lost in the world, and trying to believe in herself when others don't trust her. Nice review!

Great and honest review. It is great that the book combines science and magic successfully as not a lot of book is successful like that. Thanks

Yes, maybe it was a robotic narration. Like the type you get on a computer when you switch on audio mode. Anyway, I agree that this story is probably better read than heard.
