Have just read the first few free pages and I'm hooked. Reading the review has convinced me that I need to read this book. Has all the aspects that I love in a story.

Good Job on this review. I was able to get a picture of what the book was about from about the second paragraph. Although the book seems like a good one to read, i don't think it's something for me. The drama in it seems quite much for me to handle and it also sounds a little bit complex.

A very detailed review. And of course a book by Mr Coles is a great one to add to the list

This story sounds very complex so I’m not sure how I feel about it yet. I’ll try the sample and see what I think.

Luke and Lucy seem to be made for each other as they are so "in sync." The book sounds fascinating as you have described. Thank you for an awesome review of this book.

The Spirit of Want by William H. Coles is a heart-wrenching #Literary masterpiece under the #Fiction genre with a perfect blend of  #Relationships #Mystery, #Intrigue, and #Drama. It unfolds the story of a successful woman (who is a defense lawyer by profession, a daughter of a successful doctor, a wife of a successful surgeon, and a mother of an infant) leaving them all behind just to go after a TV-evangelist accused of sexually molesting a child; only to discover the devastating effects of unrequited love.
William H. Coles is one of my favorite authors and I'll always be glad to read his literary works. Thanks for the awesome review.

Great review.l had began reading the first few pages of the book and l was kind of stuck at the place where Luke and Lucy were heading to town after leaving the clubhouse. I find the book quite interesting judging from the review so l am going to sit down, relax and enjoy reading the rest of the story.

I had previously read The Surgeon's Wife by Mr. Coles and absolutely loved it, which is why I'm very excited to start this book. Especially because the plot is definitely made to capture's one attention and we rarely see a protagonist this flawed and realistic. Congrats!

It took me a while to reconnect that the author is the same of The Surgeon's Wife. This sounds like a compelling book, well written, rich in mystery and delving into the complexity of relationships. A book to keep into consideration.

The opening line of your review is quite an attention grabber that seems to capture the essence of the text and persuade readers to read this intriguing narrative.

As great as this book sounds, I feel like there are so many plot lines and complexities. The sample didn't intrigue me enough to continue.

Thank you for your insightful review. Whereas the sampling I've had the book made me know Lucy and Luke's professions in the legal and medical fields, respectively, it didn't give any clue that there are tinges of a religious theme splashed in the rest of the book. I agree with you that this piece is a well-written one and has the initially-basic ingredients that'll appeal tastefully for followers of its genre.

From reading the review, this looks like a masterpiece of complex relationships, legal matters, and medical stuff, all areas that I'm not good at. I look forward to reading this!
