This book seams suitable for females, or to be direct, feminists. For that reason, I think I'll pass it. Thanks for the review

This sounds like an exciting book! I love that it focuses on women, and I would definitely like to see how it pans out. It's also a plus that it's pretty well edited. Thanks for the lovely review!

The sample was intriguing and seemed like it would be a good book. I appreciate your review. After finding out that their are lesbian scenes I feel this one is not for me. Congrats on BOTD all the same. 😊

Your review of today's BOTD was so good! I suddenly have a million questions! Where did Aunt Mary Opal find her new friends? Did they all just meet or have they been acquainted before? What's with all the secrets and why? What are those secrets? I'm looking forward to finding out!

*Quick question - I wish this was just a book about friendship, rather than lesbian romance...I hope the romance part doesn't take away from the overall story. Is it more a romance read or one of friendship with added elements of romance?

Thank you so much, @srividyag1, and keep up the great work!

Great review. This sells out the book because it is well thought-out. The story seems enticing and a must read book. The conversations amongst the girls is one to envy.

Emotional abuse, domestic violence, suicide and terminal illness certainly are not subjects that I can find any enjoyment in reading about. I don't mean offence, but unfortunately I will have to pass this book. It would have been interesting to discover what secrets characters hide though)

Great review: it confirms the impressions I had of the sample I read, and informs me about the rest.
Unfortunately, I am not into lesbian romance so I will pass reading the rest of the book.

I think it could be a good story, unique for sure. I could see wanting to live my last saya this way if I didnt have family to spend it with. I wouldn't want to spend my last days thinking of dying either. Not sure if I will read it , but congratulations on BOTD.

Genuine friendship is such an influential force, it has a life-changing effect on anyone lucky enough to experience it. I'm glad Mary felt its beauty in her last days. Thanks for the excellent review.

I have no idea what the Bechdel Test is!? Aunt Mary Opal sounds like a delightful character and it is sad that she has such an unpleasant secret. All the character's sound lively and, despite being a male, I think I could enjoy this book because I agree with the sentiment about having fun. Thank you for a pleasant and entertaining review.
