It sounds like a nice read even though I don't usually read books in this genre. Thanks for the review.

The review struck me as I pondered how would it be like to be a senior citizen. Stories of people in the nursing home just got me thinking if my children would put me in a nursing home than take care of me themselves. The story is realistic and though stories like this prick my heart, I decided to read it through. Superb review. Congrats to the author, Susan Barret.

I like this concept. Senior citizen are often under appreciated as pivotal members of the society. I like that this book focuses on them, with a touch of humor.

Nice, thorough review! I like books that have interesting characters and a little humor so I am going to take a second look at this one. The London setting is also a bonus for me, since I love stories that are set in England or Ireland. :)

A fast paced novel describing a day at the care center with humour and compassion. It talks about malpractice taking place as characters pursue their own ends with varying degrees of calamity and success. Thanks for the review.

A nursing home with a subpar condition and a bunch of characters that have different goals. Seems like a novel that I would enjoy. The misspelled words may be a bother, but I would still give this book a try. Thank you for your honest review!

A humorous and heartwarming tale about exposing the malpractice of a nursing home? I love how you mentioned that the characters are humorously described and that the relationships here made you think about your own relationships. Too bad about the errors. With this and the jumping between time periods and characters might be a bit too confusing for me. I'm glad that you were able to enjoy the read though!

Great review. It was very helpful that you mentioned how each character is introduced with a brief look back at their past, which adds flavor to them. Still, I don't think I'll be reading this, as it just doesn't seem like my cup of tea.
