Sounds like this book hits three of my buttons (relationships, religion, and medicine) plus has the direct writing abilities and complexity of plot to pull it off! Cool.

Adorable review there. Blending all these professional disciplines to let out a story and inter-twinned one for that matter is expensive. However, William H. Coles isn't easy either. He's hit the blend into an articulated piece of story.

Seems like a intriguing view of life from a perspective of this family. Definitely could be a series, and would be interesting to see how these relationships evolve and change over time.

It sounds like this book was an enjoyable experience for you. I am not sure the story is for me. I will give it a few chapters and see how it goes.

I'm curious to know the details about Luke and Lucy so I'll grab my copy. Nice review.
