Sounds like a story full of difficult and beautiful emotions. I think the errors would be too many for me, but otherwise, this looks like a great book.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I think an insightful review plays a major role in grabbing a good reading audience. As far as the story is concerned, your review makes it seem intriguing. However, grammatical errors can make the reader turn off from a good story. I've downloaded my copy, going to read it soon to form a better opinion. Thanks for the review, it was really helpful.

I love the premise of this book in that it details the life of a rich man who is going about doing good deeds with his wealth. The cover threw me though. It’s so cartoonish that I thought the story was going to be a comedy. So, your explanation here helped clean that up a bit as to why there is a red car so predominantly displayed on the cover. I loved the first few chapters and like you, I saw a lot of spelling errors, but like you said, the storyline is just so good! I will just have to finish it now. Too good to be left on the shelf. Thanks for this helpful review.

The story sounds very sweet, but with the errors... I don't know if I'm going to read it. When the grammar is bad, a story becomes hindered and I'm not for that. Thanks for the heads up.

I like that Charles is giving back so much to the community without trying to get recognition for it. I also like that the reporter is trying so hard to get his story.

I would definitely be interested in learning more about McCormick. Someone so philanthropic definitely has an interesting life story. Also, the fact that there are no cliffhangers in the book is a huge relief to a reader. I am surely reading this one.

Thank you for the in depth review. You brought up factors I didn't expect, such as the complex layers of love Karen and Charles experience. After reading the first chapter I knew I wanted to read the book, but your review makes it sound more interesting than I'd imagined.

Great review. I like a story that ties up all the lose ends and explores different aspects of people’s relationships.

Reading this review was very insightful because I feel as though it didn’t make me like or hate the book before I read it.

Charles' Story by Steven Wilkens is an inspirational story of love, loss, and regret in the life of a mysterious and wealthy man, Charles Henderson McCormick. I'm sorry to hear some errors that hinder the reading flow and a few predictable parts of the story. Thanks for the honest review.

Exploring the different types of love and how they can be affected by lack of attention sounds interesting, but I definitely find grammatical and spelling errors to be highly distracting. Thanks for the review!

I am conflicted when it comes to deciding to read the book or not. I like the essence of mystery as Karen unravels Charle's story. The journey they take and the relationship that is formed between them.
Your review is good and highlights the errors I may encounter as a reader, so its thorough.

I believe there is something to learn from this book. There are different kinds of love all of which are very important and should never be taken for granted. I don't like books with a predictable plot but I'm glad it ended well. I'm undecided about this book. Thanks for the review.

I also found that this story was predictable. I read a short sample of it and the storyline seemed very simple and straightforward to me. I'm surprised you said there were some surprises, perhaps there is more to the story than I initially thought. Thanks for reviewing!
