Oh no, all the chickens are dead…

Christian wrestling is definitely a unique concept. Who doesn't like a sassy protagonist with humor and an unconventional plotline? It will be a fun, enjoyable read. Thank you for the informative review.

Lights Out Lizzie by James Hanna is a satirical and action-packed novel following Gertie McDowell, a naïve young woman who joins a Christian wrestling troupe and embarks on a chaotic journey, facing cultural clashes, danger, and unexpected fame 8)

This book is a very entertaining and fun book that tells the story of a daring and resourceful woman who had to accept an opportunity in wrestling since she didn't have many options. Her path was very interesting. The story is full of humor and good storytelling. A good book to pass the time. #BOTD

'Official Review: Lights Out Liizzie' by James Hanna has an interesting introduction. It sketches out the protagonist's character. This is the story of 24-year-old Gertie McDowell, who joins a Christian wrestling troupe for direction and to absolve her sins. Author James Hanna uses humor to create a thoroughly entertaining book. Readers will enjoy the action, adventure, and unexpected events. It was great to learn that the author displays marvellous imagination and impressive character creation!

I would like to read this book to know the wrongdoings that propelled Gertie and Cocheta to join the Christian wrestling troupe even though it is far from being related to Christianity.

I find the message in the book interesting, good winning over evil in the life of an individual. I'm positive Gertie's life would turn for the better, away from the past mistakes and it's consequences. Joining a Christian wrestling group, is to me a motivation that the future is always brighter.

I absolutely loved this book. Lizzie is an endearing character and you have to feel sorry for her as her naivety gets her into trouble. A laugh out loud good read.

I love when BOTD is a suggestion that has you excited to read. Thank you for only giving your perspective on the book and story without shedding light on other aspects. I also enjoyed your description for the main character.

Gertie's adventures are truly wild! I'm amazed at how she went from joining a wrestling troupe to getting to Afghanistan of all places! Lights Out Lizzie by James Hanna seems like it'll be an entertaining read.

It pokes fun at the absurdity of the religious life of the idea of redemption and how even the most broken people can find their way, even if it's in a completely unusual way.🫧🍀

I read the description on Amazon and realized that there was a lot of potential with this setting. The spotlight reviewer for OBC did a wonderful job describing the book to show how and why it's such a funny story. I think the author was able to write such well-done comedy because of the characters. All of them are unique in their own flawed ways, so putting them in outrageous situations can only result in light entertainment.

Ooooh, I haven’t seen anything like that before. The storyline sounds very interesting and to be honest, I already started reading the book while finishing to read the review cause I desperately want to find out what really happened to the chickens.

I’m definitely curious about the humour the Reviewer was talking about and the Christian Aspekt of it all. Thanks for the awesome review. Definitely a cool read. I’m so excited for the book now.
