Thanks for your review. Absurd and surreal are great words to describe this book. Reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. Unfortunately I don't think I would enjoy this one.

Thank you for further insight into this book as the sample pages were a bit confounding. Abi’s world seemed so structured and strange that I at first thought she was just having hallucinations in a psych unit. This one is just not for me, and your description of it being bizzare is completely accurate. I do have to say too that I noticed that this looked professionally edited as well. I just had a hard time following along.

This novel seems unmistakably Kafkaesque and I love the concept. Between the ridiculous bureaucracy of paperwork and red tape to the feeling of agitation and restlessness, the author has captured the unease and confusion which is so typical of novel from Kafka.

A well-written novel about the life of an old button maker. A perfect read for those who enjoy reading surrealist novels!Unfortunately, I am not the target audience. Fans of mystery and fantasy novels should check it out 😀 Thank You for the detailed review!

Seven at two past five by Tara Basic has a great review on the platform. A thrilling book rife with suspense. It is intense in addressing the bizarre nature of the world and its people. It's a sure pick for lovers of absurdity, tragic, romance and passion stories. I score it 3 out of 4 for its language use and ideas connection.

This sounds like a very unusual novel which supports the very unusual title. Great review!

Wow, this sounds like a really great book! I love stories that keep you so interested you don't want to put the book down. And the fact that the author's descriptions make you feel like you're right there with the character makes it even better. You gave an excellent review without revealing any spoilers. Awesome job!!!

If you’re the kind of reader who enjoys this genre, I do not think you’ll be disappointed with Seven at Two Past Five. It was a really interesting take on a subject I didn’t altogether expect—and which I’ll withhold to avoid spoiling the end. This book held my attention until the last page, and the ending was so fascinating that I’d like to read the book a second time now that the mystery has been solved, an unmistakable sign of a successful novel.
I think this is one of the best praises a book can receive. I can't wait to know what this mysterious subject is.
This novel is absolutely different from what I usually read but the plot appears to be very engaging and the narrative very well-developed.
Your review was engaging and enthusiastic and it made me want to pick the book right now, thanks!

Not a fan of dystopian stories so I will pass but I believe that the story line with the weird and frightening dreams will capture the right audience.

Sounds like an odd one. Personally, I love books that break away from the pack in a surreal fashion. Looking forward to checking this one out.

Thanks for the review. I do not enjoy reading absurd and philosophical books, so will pass reading this book.

Can you imagine what it'd be like to live in a world where no longer having nightmares is considered bad? That's terrifying to me. It makes me wonder what happened in their history for their society to turn into that. I think that'd also make a great read. As it is, this novel sounds wonderful and highly interesting.

This book looks amazing. Abi is such a different character than what I'm used to reading, and her story is remarkable. I look forward to reading this book.
