I love detective stories so I'd definitely be picking this up. I look forward to reading of her adventures alongside Zero as they look for the person behind her problems.

Everything about the book sounds weird. From the book's title, to the story line, to Abi's coffin bed. This scares me, so I will pass reading the book. Congratulations on being the BOTD!!!

Thank you for your descriptive review. I'm glad you enjoyed the book. I'm not sure I understand exactly what the buttons are. I agree the author's writing describes it very well, but I don't believe this is a good fit for me. I'm sure many others will enjoy it though.

"Seven at Two Past Five" by Tara Basi is a unique novel that takes readers on a complex journey through the life of the old button maker Abi. She had been living with night terrors for years and they became a part of her life. She awakened one day without any night terrors and she is happy about the change in her routine but when she arrives at her workshop, she finds a note instructing her that because of the absence of her usual terrors she is accused of Disturbance Potential. Abi decides to appeal the charges and her acts of defiance sets in motion a change of events that is built one difficulty after another. Will Abi win her case and go back to a normal life of making buttons? One must read the book to find out what happens.

What an intriguing idea! I hardly ever came across books that were purposefully weird and strange. I'm now, nevertheless, interested in this book. I honestly believed that would make a fun movie or perhaps a play.

The fun writing style and absurdity of the story are very enjoyable to read! Almost adictive.

At first I was upset that there was no introduction or prologue to this book. But once you start reading it you understand why. The element of confusion and surprise are essential to the reading.

I love a book that has unexpected and illogical (or so it seems) twists and turns and a dystopian backdrop. I look forward to reading this one, for sure! Thank you for your review!

First looking at the cover page, it turned me off. although it has an interesting title, the cover page looks like a novel on witches. Congratulations to the author on winning book of the day.

I'm curious to find out why exactly Abi was accused of disturbance just because she didn't have the night Terrors. I'm also curious to find out how the absence of the terrors is her fault at all. This book seems to have taken a lot of creativity to write!
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

Abi must have thought that her sweet sleep without the usual absurd dreams is the beginning of new things. She was wrong after she was accused of disturbance potential. I'll love to know more from the book. Thanks for the review.

It's interesting how an eerie cover design is used to signify the injustices in the legal system. Looking forward to reading this. Congratulations on being listed as Book Of the Day.
