I have a fondness for intelligent works of fiction with strong female leads, and this book appears to fit the bill quite nicely. Looking forward to checking it out. Thanks for your compelling review.

A book that follows an elderly woman who is suffering from a terminal illness. However, she just wants her last days to be filled with young people and their joy. It sounds pretty interesting.

A well-written story about friendship and secrets that has an "excellent editing, dialogues, and character development." It sounds a must-read for fans of the genre. I am glad you enjoyed it, but I am not sure it is for me. Thank you for the detailed review!

It interests me to know how females can co-exist without a fight or quarrel. This is an awesome novel to read. I will definitely give it a try. Thank for the splendid review.

Excuse my ignorance, but I hadn't heard of the Bechdel test before and had to google it. Now I know and I'm glad I do - many thanks for that!
Same here. I didn't know watch a Bechdel text was either. :)

A very interesting review nonetheless. This is not my preferred genre so I'll pass on this one.

This sounds like a sweet story. It reminded me of my late grandmother. Towards the end of her life, there was a bit of a rowdy bunch living next door to her. My aunt (RIP) would call the cops on them, but my grandmother didn't seem to mind them. I think she kind of liked their energy.
