Our future also depends on the environment, and we need to protect it. I like the incorporation of environmental awareness in the story. Buc investigation exposes those damaging the environment. "Northern Umbrage" is a gripping, well-woven, and well-written story. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

A great review. This book sounds interesting, especially because of the environmental awareness approach used. This approach is a smart as it is educational and intriguing while still containing an entertaining angle incorporating a wonderful plot containing elements of sci-fi , adventure, romance and mystery. The character development sounds equally exciting and mentally stimulating.

Sounds quite interesting even though at first I was a bit confused about what a detective had to do with environmental problems. After reading the complete description provided in the review, confusion wasn't cleared, because I believe the person who investigates and attempts to solve such cases is called an ecologist, but none the least I would like to read this intriguing tale. Congratulations on BOTD!

This author is very creative. I like the way he created an intriguing fantasy story from something as mundane as environmental awareness. I'd like to read how the environmental scientist discovered the wolflike creature.

Environmental pollution is the need of the hour discussion! It's great that the author chose to address this issue with a great plot and suspense which grips the readers till the end. An environmental pathologist who investigates the mysterious beast only to find out that there's something beyond that which is harming the environment is interesting. The thought of pollution-free future is in itself a peaceful pleasant feeling. I wonder how the author describes it in this book. Nice review.

This intriguing book offers a mix of sci-fi elements, adventure, mystery, and environmental awareness. The review definitely piqued my interest. What caused the fish to die in droves? Is the beast a result of the pollution? Will the pulp and paper company own up to their transgressions?
With the suspense, twists and turns in this book, I'm sure readers will be thoroughly entertained.
Congratulations on BOTD.

The book sounds very interesting and exciting. It seems to be full of adventures and sci-fi elements that adds to the intrigue of what has been terrorizing the neighborhood. Besides it brings to the forefront a very acute problem of the importance of our environment and the need to protect it. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I loved Sadie's deep character, who shows us life is a mixture of love and imagination. We must be kinder to the environment so that animals can live in peace.

This book addresses the topic of environmental damage. Buc's character looks intriguing. I wonder if he manages to solve the mysterious matters, especially that of The Beast. It seems like an interesting mix of elements of science fiction, adventure, mystery and environmental awareness.

"Northern Umbrage" by Dennis Lorenz tells the story of Dr. John Buchannon. He is a detective who tries to solve environmental problems. Something that seemed like a typical problem turned out to be a mystery in the form of the appearance of a terrible beast that resembles a wolf.
