Sounds like it has an interesting premise, but still just isn't my kind of read. Still, you did a great job reviewing it and I'm glad you enjoyed it a lot.

I like that the book rouses the topic of trust and makes us understand that sometimes we can trust nobody, not even the closest person. This is really a harsh and painful lesson to learn. Thanks for making the book free.

The book's cover is quite amazing and attractive. I always admire historical fiction like this one though I can see the tough character names as you mention them in your review. congratulation to the author for the great work.

When I first came across this book, I wanted to skip it off because I do not want to waste my limited time. The love for historical books made me flip across each page. I wanted to read just the first three pages but I never knew when I sat down eating up the words in the book. My few minutes soon turned to hours and hours turned to days.

My conclusion is: I must say good literary work for the author and I am eagerly waiting for the second part of the book. OnlineBookClub also did well for bringing quality work for their members.

I give the book a 4 out of 4

Thank you for the review! As a Scandinavian myself, the era of viking pillaging is always interesting and I love it when authors set their stories around that timeline. And after your review, it's going straight on my to-read list.

Sound really interesting and informative. I love it when historical fiction is true enough to history to be a lesson in itself.

This book seems to be both entertaining and educational at the same time. I do not know much about the Danish, but I think if I read this book, I'll learn a lot since the author portrayed them realistically. thanks for the review!

Thanks for the great review . It is a great book with some great content in it. It is also a journey back in time as the review brings about some imagination of what that time looked like
