Definitely not my cup of tea, each personal story mentioned in the review's description portrays the darkest and worsest sides of human nature. With context way too hard for my tastes, it is no surprise that I prefer to skip dilogy. Sorry, but congrats with BOTD, anyway!

People underestimate how strong faith can be. There have been studies that link more atheists/agnostics with higher suicide rates. It is a pity that faith can make commit suicide too or not accept themselves. Congratulations on the BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.

What a wonderful book to read. The book promises to exact decisions that will help the reader. A religious turnaround that will most likely evoke compassion and love. I like how Billy found solace in Christianity.

Your review is very informative, Chioma! Sampling, I gleaned that this book is a story about an orphan black boy Billy and the synergy between his homosexuality and Christian beliefs. Your review has confirmed my initial feeling that this is a well-written book with well-developed characters. An intriguing read!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting story following an orphan, Billy Lymon, who is struggling with his sexuality and his beliefs. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I was not prepared for the twist I was met with from the sampled pages of this book. An old woman murders a young child in fear that she can't raise her well. This is a captivating sentence. Congratulations on BOTD.
