I usually don't read comic as I'd rather watch it but reading the review made me laugh literally. I'll give the book a try. Congratulations to the author for today's BOTD.

This book isn't for me. I don't find it fascinating to read about repeated convicts and their bad behaviors.

An entertaining modern-day comedic fiction story in the book "Call Me Pomeroy" by James Hanna, which is about the adventures of Pomeroy, a street musician, who is currently out of jail and on parole. He introduces himself as one-of-a-kind type of man having a life living on the streets, to escape from the police.

life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

With a character as irritating and humorous at the same time as Pomeroy, this book sounds fun. While it is usually the one with a pleasant character is rooted to have a happy ending, I am wondering what the readers hope for Pomeroy's. Let's have fun reading this!. Congrats!

I must say I enjoy humorous story but only in movies. But who knows maybe I'll enjoy the books more but definitely not stating with this book. If there's the movie ill gladly watch.

Great review! Pomeroy seems to be the big shot in this book. It's definitely a must read for me.

What a review. I wanted a sample quote but I enjoyed nevertheless. Good book too. Kudos.

It's refreshing when an author can take the crudeness that permeates some people's everyday life and make it appealing to readers. This seems like a book I might enjoy, although I don't normally favor humor of the crude variety.

I have to agree that this book isn't for everyone. The main character is a real hoodlum. That said, how can a hoodlum like that be so wrong most of the time, and still occasionally say something that indicates he has a moral sense of ethics under there somewhere? This may be quite an entertaining read for some, but the bad language is too strong and way too frequent for me to be able to overlook and enjoy the story. Thanks for the great review!

This review perfectly sums up this story! I have to agree that Pomeroy is surprisingly hard to dislike despite how vulgar he is! This definitely isn’t a story for the faint of heart or anyone who is sensitive to foul language. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and review!

This book sounds very interesting. I wasn't that intrigued when I first looked at it and read a little bi, but I think I will give it a try based on your review!

From the review, the pointer to "crude and inappropriate situations and language" in this novel is enough discouragement. Don't think I'll read this one. Thanks

This book looks like something to sit back and enjoy over a drink and have a good laugh. I look forward to reading this book very soon.

Sometimes a rude and crude and socially unacceptable (and hilariously brilliant, by the sound of it) character is the best! Every now and again, this type of reading is good for the (or at least my) soul :) Thanks for the good review!
