"Call Me Pomeroy" is a book of satire by James Hanna about a street musician Pomeroy, an egotistic and delusional man currently on parole. Congratulations on BOTD!!

Sounds like an entertaining, light read. You mentioned the editing was good for this book. Sometimes it's hard (for me) to find the errors when there is slang, or when it is written in a different dialect of English...

This book is not for me. I only got a few paragraphs into the sample and the crudeness turned me off from it immediately. Thanks for the review though, sounds like it will be interesting for people who aren’t bothered by that sort of thing.

I'm not really into satire stories, however, Pomeroy seems like a very interesting character and I can't wait to read more about him and his amusing adventures.

It's good to know that you enjoyed it, am sure it would be great and all but am not into books with alot of humor in it or so, but I think I would pass. However I really wonder why pomeroy is under the police watchful eyes, what offence did he commmit?

I just read a sample of the book's first chapter and I was pleased by the author's writing style (in Pomeroy's voice) and by Pomeroy's general character. It was really funny! I can see how you'd find Pomeroy possibly extremely delusional, it's pretty evident in his character. Thanks for the review!

This sounds fascinating as Edward, aka Pomeroy, escapes from Police and live from one street to another. Great review, I think this book is not for me

This would be a fun book to have a group read and discuss. I like an off beat character, and I think it would be interesting to hear others take on this story.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting comedic story. It seems worth a second look. Well done.

Pomeroy was certainly interesting, I'll give him that. it makes me wonder exactly what he gets up to while hopping countries.

This review of the book Call me Pomeroy by James Hanna was well written. It has given any potential reader a vivid picture of the main character of the story and his exploits. This definitely would help the reader know before hand if this is a book they would want to read. My attempt to get past the first few pages was quite difficult as I am not accostumed to this type of language and expression which made me uncomfortable. I agree the book is not for the faint hearted. One could get a good laugh though if one took no offence to the expressions used.
