Sometimes, i find it hard to believe women or single mother can take care of a broken home, this book should be a grate write-up to the possibilities by virtue of love and support from friends. Congratulations to the writer. That was a great review too!

I am impressed with the professionalism of this review. As I am about to write a review of a book of short stories, I was just wondering how to write about them all in a relatively short text.
This is how. The general idea, best short story, best character, least liked short story/ character, everything well justified.
The mention of the voices, points of view and multilayered narration was what I liked best.
Thank you for the perfect review! :tiphat:

Usually a collection of stories is not something I would choose for reading but this one seems interesting. These are different stories on the one hand, but on the other hand they are connected by four friends and the stories that are happening to them. And this sounds interesting. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

This book sounds like an enjoyable quick read. I would enjoy being able to sit down and read a single short story if I didnt have a lot of time to read the whole book. The themes you described are relatable to almost anyone and could inspire those who read it. The book overall sounds light hearted but with the ability to relate and inspire people who may be dealing with the same issues or life events you described. You review was well done and gave depth to the overview of this book, great job.

I like the fact that the short stories in this collection are linked and follow the life's challenges of four different women. Focusing on snapshots of Canadian life, the book seems to be both funny and insightful. Thanks for a detailed review!

This sounds like an enthralling and gripping book. I like reading short stories and I believe these ones will be equally fascinating. Thanks for the fantastic review.

I’m not really into short stories. The review you have written for this book definitely does the book some justice. Might consider reading it.

I enjoyed your summary of the main characters. This is an exceptionally well-written book. Personally, my only regret is that it is a collection of short stories instead of a cohesive whole. What I read from the sample pages, I really enjoyed. Thanks for an excellent review!

The #BOTD selections are on a role. I like the female protagonist stories. Definitely adding to my want to read bookshelf. I think it is interesting that there is a relationship of all the stories being connected by the characters in them.

Sounds like a great collection of stories. The women sound fun, and I love that the stories are told from a variety of perspectives. Great review. I'll look into the book more. Thanks.

I was not sure if the reviewer would recommend this book to kids, but I can assume not based on the themes. I liked Celeste's character the most; she was not afraid to take over a situation or tell it how it is. Great job on your review! :)
