I think this book teaches the reader about relationship value as well as career value. Many married people make the mistake CJ made, focusing more on their career advancement and neglecting their relationship.
If you want to be remembered long after you are gone, do things worth writing about or write things worth reading about.

CJ's personal and professional life seems to lay the foundation for an excellent character-driven novel. I particularly enjoy the realistic portrayal of the academic and administrative relationships in a university. Thanks for a great review!

This character-driven novel tells the story of a woman who is at the top of her professional life but clueless about her personal life. It deals with wrong choices, infidelity, and friendship. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent review.

My favorite part of The Assignment was CJ’s character. She was challenged personally and professionally throughout the book. She was at the top of her game in her career but lacked the necessary skills to revive her dying marriage. I thought it was fascinating how such an intelligent woman could be so clueless in regards to relationships. The inner turmoil that she experienced drove her to make some pretty destructive choices, such as acting promiscuous and driving under the influence.
Unfortunately, I've seen it happen many times both in literature and in real-life. Some of the most successful people in their field seem to be clueless regarding their personal life and wellbeing.
This seems like a fascinating novel with realistic characters. I'll check it out for sure. Thanks!

CJ was faced with the conundrum of trying to create a balance between her work and her husband. She made a serious mistake by not confronting her husband Trey when she had the opportunity. I'm going to pick up this book and find out if she was able to solve her problems. Awesome review!

Thanks for the review. This doesn’t sound like a book for me. I don’t tend to enjoy relationship dramas but CJ’s character sounds like one readers will enjoy.

Thanks for this review. I'm probably not going to read the book because I don't do well with couples who fight (or even argue loudly). Hopefully, CJ can work things out.

Great review! I really pity CJ. She is superwoman in my books but I wish that she could win on the marriage front too.

Thanks for the awesome review! It sounds like CJ has a lot of issues, let alone dealing with an unfaithful husband! Still, I am going to pass on this one due to the profanity and sexually explicit material!

The Assignment by Don Chance seems really interesting. It's title is intriguing and I was captivated by the book immediately I saw it. I'm in love with the book, the fact that it has well-developed character and CJ McCarter's story is moving. So, I will consider reading it. Congratulations to the author on the BOTD. Great review.
