The author satirized many socio-political issues, which was the ultimate appeal of the book.
Satirizing anything can make it interesting and it's usually the truth that is satirized.
People who are into humorous fiction might find this book worth their time. The book was rife with intellectual musings, so I would also recommend this book to readers who are looking for intellectually stimulating books.
Humorous, intellectually stimulating, that's me all the way! That's it, press send to post this and I'm getting this book right now, to read! Great job at hooking me. Thank you!

I am not a fan of slow pace books and sadly I will not be reading this book because the plot does not interest me. Great review.

The title of the book depicted a different storyline from what the book is actually about. This will be a great book to read. The plot or storyline sounds intriguing. The concept of Halloween costumes makes it more interesting to read.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting story about two ordinary college students who, due to a poor choice in costumes, become the center of a social maelstrom that will polarize the college campus and they will face the some troubles. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

This seems to be an exciting book. Indeed a lot of commotion is involved in this adventure book for young adults. I hope Troy and Ian eventually find a way out of the turmoil they created. Thanks for the review.

Slow paced storylines can be a bit annoying and boring, I am a fan of fast paced storylines reaching climax quicker. Thanks for the insightful review

I am curious as to how Troy and Ian overcame their problems. From the review the book seems to be slow paced but I'm sure it's really interesting.

When I read the title, I thought the story would be about university student drama. I am surprised to learn, from your great review, that the story has intellectual musings with a humorous tone. Sadly, I will have to pass on this one. I am not a fan of slow-paced novels. I hope other potential readers enjoy it. Congrats on BOTD.
