Thanks for your review! Post-apocalypse stories can be interesting; I wonder what I'd do if that happened tomorrow? Watching a character evolve through their thoughts is cool if done well. Glad you enjoyed the book.

It's a great review. But this is not the kind of story I would read at all. Anyways thanks for the review though.

Thanks for the informative review Tanaya. I am not really a fan of a romance story but I am interested to know about the complexities of Lars Lindgren and Eileen's life as they struggle against the odds.

I am not that interested in Apocalypse stories so I would give this one a pass.

It sounds like a serious dramatic book about various relationships mostly. I’m not a lover of such books, so I doubt I would read it.
Thank you for a nice review!

AlwaysWorthIt wrote:Great review. Dystopian novels always grab my attention. It makes me wonder what I would do in each decision being made. The sample seems to be a slow read, which unfortunately deters me from picking it up.
I also had the same initial reaction (the pace being slow). After another few pages though, I realized that the author could have meant it that way. When nothing else is worth doing because the world has stopped, we will be preoccupied with the ordinary and the mundane.

I love the review on Into Autumn by Larry Landgraf as it is a nice Dystopian book about Texan Lars and the futuristic apocalyptic world. Thank you for no spoiler too.

It is not an apocalypse, but it is close and readers will find this book an interesting look at what might just happen in our own near future, What if the power was gone? how would you survive and who would you want to survive with you? The author does a great job answering these questions and taking a look at what may just be an inevitable future.
And also make us aware of possible challenges and what to expect when it comes and gives you great hope of utilizing what see around for survival.

Loved the prologue. Made me ponder as to how I would handle such a situation. Larry has detailed the personalities of the several characters in the book well

Tanaya, your review of this book Into Autumn by Larry Landgraf is well written. For me the pacing seems quite slow until it comes to the part where they met. You wrote - Potential readers should know that there are some erotic scenes and cursing. Now my imagination is piqued. I just might read it! :techie-studyingbrown: Congrats to Larry for his #BOTD. :tiphat:

I'm not sure this is for me but it definitely seems like a unique take on the apocalyptic storyline.

Firstly, I love a book with details. I get frustrated a lot when I have to go on my imagination alone with a writters vivid description. For that I would read the book. It sound very interesting, however, I really dont like books with graphic sexual contents, I feel like it's the same as watching porn so for that I would not get the book. If I did get it I would skip the sexual contents like I did with 50 shades. But im very intrigued with the story line. Apocalypse and a musterious future looming ahead, trials and tribulations faced, Thats more my kind of book so for that im gonna shelve it.
