Dr Lawson's invitation from the Princess makes me wonder what happens in Riyadh. This is an interesting book and I love the mystery.

Filled with action and suspense, today's BOTD is a mystery novel that'll keep readers guessing through to the end. Themes surrounding human rights, freedom of expression, and mending a broken heart are ones I know I will enjoy. Thank you so much for your helpful review. I've added this to my WTR list. :-)

The story follows Dr. Lawson as he goes to Saudi Arabia and gets caught up in a thrilling adventure that challenges his beliefs. The writer gives you hints along the way, so you can try to figure out the mystery. It's a great feeling when you finally understand what's going on at the end. A Reckoning of Wolves sounds like a perfectly blended intriguing story. With the variety of sensitive topics it portrays, I'm sure this book would be best for those who can handle such heavy themes. Congrats on botd!

I expected a completely plot based on the title so I'm unsure what the "wolves" are about. However, I love a good mystery and yours sounds perfect for me.

I found your review of A Reckoning of Wolves by Judy Higgins to be quite insightful. The way you described Dr. Lawson’s journey to Saudi Arabia as both a physical and emotional escape really caught my attention. It sounds like the author did a fantastic job of weaving together themes of freedom and human rights with the suspense of a mystery novel. I’m especially intrigued by the event at the border that challenges the concept of freedom—this seems like a thought-provoking aspect of the book. Your mention of the glossary of Arabic names at the end is also a nice touch, as it shows the author's effort to immerse readers in the cultural setting. I’m curious to see how these elements come together to create a satisfying conclusion. Thanks for highlighting this book!

I'm intrigued to better understand what the mystery is. Aside from a wolf charm on a bracelet otherwise full of jewels that the princess tries to conceal, the author gives nothing away in the opening chapters of the book.

Unfortunately, the book most definitely is not my cup of tea, because despite quite the intriguing storyline, I have no interest in the Saudi area, and I am not ready at the moment to step out "beyond our comfort zones of freedom" Congrats with BOTD, anyway!

Thank you for your great review on "A Reckoning of Wolves" by Judy Higgins. The novel follows Dr. Lawson, who is hesitant to go to Saudi after suffering a heartbreak from his wife, Sandra. The book appears to juxtapose two distinct cultures and societies to examine perceptions of human rights and freedom. This mystery sounds like an interesting read so I have put in on my shelf. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.
