The sample read was easy-going and conversational. The Christian themes, the fun moments, spookiness, and some lessons to take away make it a well-rounded, entertaining read. Thank you, Bertha, for your detailed review.

We can find a wonderful Christian mystery story in the book "Pastor B and the Haunted Church" by Dorothy May Mercer. The story follows River Heights Church, which is a 100-year-old mansion with a spooky history dating back to the 19th century.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Thank you for your great review of Dorothy May Mercer's Christian mystery and suspense novel "Pastor B and the Haunted Church: A Christian Mystery Suspense."
I'm planning to read this intriguing novel because it has several aspects that I enjoy reading in fiction: mystery, suspense, paranormal, and historical fiction.
Generally, the novels that I've read that are based on Christianity are historical fiction novels set in the period when Jesus lived or during the early days in Rome, for example.
I'm looking forward to reading this contemporary Christian mystery novel.

Thank you for such a thorough and insightful review! I’m impressed by how the author weaves together so many heavy themes—like deceit, embezzlement, paranormal events, and even social issues like transgender identity—without letting the story become overwhelming. The detail about the church’s link to the Underground Railroad really caught my attention; it adds a profound historical layer that I didn’t expect from a Christian mystery. I also appreciated your mention of Alan’s leadership methods, like making surprise visits to learn more about his congregation. That really shows a thoughtful, hands-on approach to ministry. Looking forward to seeing how the series continues!

Great review! I appreciate how you highlighted both the spiritual depth and the suspenseful tone of the book. Pastor B and the Haunted Church truly stands out for blending faith with mystery in such a unique way. The way Reverend Alan navigates the supernatural while staying grounded in his mission was both inspiring and thought-provoking. Dorothy May Mercer has a gift for weaving real-life struggles with spiritual lessons.

It appears that the author has taken up alot on their plate in one go but woven it together into a multi-dimensional mystery story. The spooky nature and historical references interest me.

Thank you for the review. I read the sample. Pastor Alan and his wife, Sharon, take the job of pastoring an old historic church with a spooky history. Can they befriend the congregation and bring more excitement to the neighborhood with God's help?

I bought and read so many books but this one is superb, initially I was not interested in it I thought it was going to be like the previous books I bought and read earlier which I did not get any interest or benefits from it but as I read 2 Pages, my interest started building up, the book is Soo interesting and inspirational. The book has been broken down in paragraphs, alignments and with beautiful cover which everyone will like to purchase and read especially children. The author is very well in writing of books.
He used simple English to make sure everyone at any level will understand it, as compared to other authors who uses complicated English and writing style for their books, thank you so much for this book, I will browse his profile to see if I will get more of his inspirational books, the book is soo affordable, so any one can buy and start reading.
I will recommend this author of this book to every reader
