Going thorough this book, you get a picture of a soldier's life. The rules & regulation they maintain, the hardship they overcome, tolerating the stress & pressure which we civilians can't feel ; while they don't fear to face.
Their way of doing the must done tasks, bearing the unbeatable attitude & the worth mentioning bravery may make you passionate about the army ; leveling up ur enthusiasm will unleash your patroitism that was hidden in a corner of our heart for a unknown period.

If you like war based & action writing, it is a must read for you

Even though I'm not so much of a fan of war stories I still find the book worth reading though. Congrats on BOTD

Pachyderms by Danny Buoy sounds really good. The fact that it's fast-paced and it has a great plot makes want to read it sooner. I will add it to my to-read list. Congratulations on the BOTD. Great review.

Who's true story is it based on?
This is definitely a unique sounding narrative, but I'm wondering what inspired it.

Although this story gives a good account of what life was like for an American soldier during the Vietnam War, it is not the genre that I normally read. Therefore, I think I will pass. Thanks for the wonderful review, though!

War fiction is not my cup of tea but I've read the review and the book seems nice. All books based on true stories are really interesting. Besides it tells about soldiers' daily lives in the camp and offices and what they do off duty and many other things that will definitely appeal to readers. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I am not a fan of war stories, but the review mentioned "the conversations are interesting and humorous occasionally". In that case, if it's anything like the TV show MASH, but real, it may not "bore" me too much. Thanks for the review.

I like war stories and I haven’t read any aviation stories, so I’m interested in this book set during the Vietnam war. Thanks for your review!
