What a unique plot! I'm interested in reading Abi's story. Never read a novel that includes buttonmaking. I'm really interested.

Wow what an unusual storyline! I like how the mood is dark and mysterious... very intriguing! It’s also rare to have such a well edited book - definitely adding this to my list!

I don't think I could read this book, even though the review tells me I should..lol. Not a genre I enjoy. Thank you for your review.

The plot's absurdity leaves me with so many questions. I want to know who has access to Abi's thoughts and why they chose to interrupt her rather mundane life. It comes as no surprise that she's hiding jaw-dropping secrets.

This novel sounds complex, yet interesting and full of suspense. The first thing that caught my attention is the "Disturbance Potential". I would definitely like to know more about this accusation. There were a lot of mysteries and unanswered questions such as the relationship between a button maker and nightmares? Why was she sleeping in a bed coffin? Why did she seclude herself from the world until she was accused of "Disturbance Potential"? Did she eventually got justice? Was her name cleared?
I personally don't like weird stories, however, All these questions got me curious and I would love to skim through this novel. Good Review!

What an amazing idea! The grey world of Abi the button maker turns upside down when she stops having nightmares. This sort of story is my cup of tea.

The way the review is written makes the book look interesting. I wonder how someone sleeps and wakes up without nightmare is the bad thing that triggers difficulty in Abi's life. So much I want to know, so i'll definitely read this book. Good review.

Wow. Your first paragraph had me hooked! A worker who lives in a coffin, and is punished for not having nightmares... what sort of a dystopian world is this? Thanks for your great review.

Mmmh! This book is not in the genre of books I enjoy reading, so, I would not waste my time reading a book which contains a lot of thoughts.

This sounds like an amazing book that I would love to read. I'd like to know more about Abi and how exactly button making and nightmares interconnect. I truly love being surprised in a book and having no idea what could possibly happen! :techie-reference:

This is a fantastic review Camille. An unusual book so well written that I too want to get it for myself. The review certainly piqued my curiosity as to what fate befell Abi and if her life ever returned to "normal." Tara Basi has penned a sure winner.

"absurdist, surrealist, or philosophical novels that keep you guessing" this line right here reeled me in. I'll be reading this book next. Thank you for your recommendation and what a great review.
