This sounds like a great collection of stories about some strong women. I will be adding it to my TBR for sure.

Thanks for the excellent review! I typically don't like short stories but this one sounds interesting and even fun. I loved your description of each of the women. Your description of Celeste sounds just like someone who has money and the amenities that go with it. I could picture her as I read it. From your descriptions, I think I would probably like Sandy and Beth the best! I may have to give this book of short stories a try. :D

Short stories are a good way to pass time and entertain yourselves. I like the way you told which character you like the best and which one not by giving specific reasons. Thanks for the review.

This is an anthology of twenty-three short stories revolving around women. The major themes include marriage, parenting, homosexuality, and aging. I must say that these stories are heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. To top it all, the author uses different perspectives to narrate the story.

Heartwarming and amusing short stories are worth my time. The narration style sounds unique and different. Based on the review, all stories in the book seem to be likable. There is no reason to drop the book. Congratulations on being the BOTD. Great review.

This book sounds incredibly interesting and fun. As a single mom, I can relate to some of the stories the women tell. I like they are short stories and it would be nice to read them all at once or have the option to split them into smaller segments. I am definitely adding this one to my reading list. It sounds like the characters and experiences are relatable.

Sounds like an interesting read!so they had to make the fat woman irritating? great :lol2: ! I really like real life drama and this book I think does it for me! But at what point do they actually drink the wine? anyway I'll figure it out as I dive into the pages. Great review!

I normally love compilations, but I don't "do" female friends; I don't have a group in my own life, and I don't care to read about a bunch of them and the issues they face in their episodes. Thanks for the review, just the same.

Recently I liked to read short stories, and this one seems like a good opportunity. It seems interesting for the different personalities of the characters (I love that kind of friendships); a combination which I must read in a future. :D
