I like thought provoking fiction and I think the author did a great job here making the reader question every funny situation and absurd action involving Pastor John and his followers just to decide who is right and who is wrong, whether it is really so or just an image of a twisted mind. When I first read the caterogization of this book my knee jerk response was "pass." I initally thought this book was non-fiction, but then I after reading your review I learned that a fictious book steeped in spiritual elements. I have to admit though that this book still isn't one I can see myself picking up. It doesn't really pique my interest with the main character having a case of enlightenment after experiencing a particular bed. The book does not pique my interest so I don't think that this going to be one that I pick up. Thanks for the review.

Great review. I have to say I am not sure if this book is for me or not. But you only have great things to say about it, so I might give it a try. Sounds like all the characters are very unusual and might be amusing to read.

A very original work of fiction. The protagonist suffers an encounter with a magical bed that changes his life. I find it attractive that the book leaves you with reflections about finding meaning in life and helping others.
