The sample reminded me of the grumpy old neighbor that every kid seems to have nearby. The story about the family recycling items with each other was a nice ode to the title as well. This looks to be an interesting book. Congrats to the author on BOTD! :)

This book sounds like a great read for all ages not just children or teenagers because of how unique the plot line is. I also like the added layer of mystery and intrigue with the treehouse. You did not give away too much of the story, but just enough that it piqued my interest. I also like the reference to the Old McDonald rhyme and the similar sounding name to the farmer in this novel.

Sounds like an interesting read for children. I do wonder what events took place in the treehouse that's big enough to tear the families apart. Thanks for your review.

I do love a progressive reimagining of an old nursery rhyme! I can’t wait to discover which memories are triggered by the presence of an old tree house on this unsuspecting farm. 🌳

I love books with a good moral lesson for children. Recycled hope has a lot of good lessons children can learn from. My favorite quality about this book is that it reminds me of "old McDonald " rhyme

Where there is life, there's definitely hope. Kids ń needs to be taught from an early age the importance of obedience and other virtues. Nice review.

This book sounds like an interesting coming of age with suspense on top of it. I’m curious to see the depth of this plot. I don’t always like first person stores because I don’t feel the depth. However, this one sounds well written and has important messages. Worth the try!

A tree house has a special appeal for children. I enjoyed the way you described the character development of the different children in the story. I agree that humor wouldhelp the story flow more smoothly. Thanks for the wonderful recommendation.

The #BOTD has moral issues addressed that younger readers can enjoy. I will enjoy sharing this with my youngest son and daughter. I like the character descriptions the most. Great review.

It's only good when Linda and Karen disobeying Mr. MacDowell. It must be a really nice apple tree 🌳. It's a slow pace book not all that well getting to where this is taking me.

This young-adult book sounds like it is well-written with characters that are relatable. It also seems that the author wanted the readers to learn valuable lessons from this book once finished. Great review!

'Official Review: Recycled Hope' by Linda Drugan has a good introduction! The element of realism found in the story is appreciable for me! The point that the story has moral lessons to be learned from is worth mentioning in the review! The negative point of lack of humor in the story has been well pointed out by the reviewer! Nice to learn that the reviewer draws inspiration from the story!
