The book's cover and title are intriguing. Although the genre and content seem a bit outside my genre. The authenticity of the countryside Lizzy lives in is quite interesting and I wonder of her predicament. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Plenty of great character development in only 32 pages? That's definitely impressive. It's unfortunate that the ending wasn't satisfactory, hopefully there will be a sequel for this work. Thank you for your review!

It looks like the author has been able to fit a lot of emotional content into such a short book.

The themes of this book are relatable to many issues in society. I think the author has done a good job in compiling this peace. However, due to some offensive parts in the book, this wouldn't be the kind that I would love to read. Thank you for the great review.

The review is well written and it definitely inspires me to want to read the book. It sounds like an emotional story, which will probably lead me to end up in tears.

To put it mildly, I am less than thrilled with the subject matter chosen by the author for this book. It doesn't concern me in what way it was meant to be introduced. Be it as education or anecdote I find it inappropriate and will have to pass this booklet. Apologies if my opinion seems rude and still congrats!

This book accurately explains child sexual abuse and how slowly it starts to manifest itself. The most common perpetrators of sexual abuse are family members typically cousins or older male relatives although females do commit sexual violence, but it is much rarer. The author also illustrates how young sexual abuse starts with Lizzy being only nine years old when her cousins makes sexual advances towards her.

The book is short but judging by the review manages to tell so much. I have to say that I'm shocked at the way Lizzy's parents chose to tell her about sexual relationships. I've read a lot that it is difficult for a religious family to explain sex to their children. But in my opinion showing rough animal sex to a 10-year-old girl is also not an option. Still it's a pretty serious topic so I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how Joey’s actions changed Lizzy and how she dealt with it in such a young age where she was not supposed to be exposed yet to things her mind and body were not ready yet.

This sounds like a rather curious story. I wonder what became of Lizzy. I hope she confided in an adult that could help. Thanks for sharing.

I like that the characters in the book are well developed, but I have a problem with the way the Liz's famil teaches her about sex. Kudos to the author for the ill he addresses through the story though. Thanks for the amazing review and congrats BOTD!
