This book sounds like it is a poignant and life-changing read. Great review!

Your review was excellent! Thank you!

Today's BOTD is one for those who enjoy stories of war or are interested in learning about the Vietnam War through the eyes of a soldiers. Although it's not the one for me, readers of the genre will appreciate the strong characterization and vivid imagery. Thank you again and keep up the great work! :-)

War stay with soldiers and citizens alike long after the conclusion of actual battle. This book follow the life of soldiers to trace the effects of war on soldiers. Your review is beautifully done.

Sounds like this book falls into the historical fiction category. War is hard on everyone, especially the soldiers who have to live the life and then come home to discover everything has changed.

Unfortunately, I will have to skip this book despite quite good way reviewer managed to display it and even make interesting for person like me, who has zero interest in the subject. No offence, but war stories are not my cup of tea, though congratulations with BOTD!

War novels are not books that I typically find interesting to read so I think that this book will be one that I pass on reading. Also, it sounds like the author could use another round of editing to get all the issues that you noticed as you read. Thank you for the interesting review.

The book seems interesting and heartwarming telling the horrors of Vietnam War and the uneasy life the soldiers had. But books about war are not my cup of tea, still I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

This is too surreal for me. The horrors and devastating impacts of the Vietnam war and any other war are just too much. I like the survival aspect of it. Congratulations on the BOTD.

The plot seems relevant and timely, and I’m looking forward to digging into this book because I love war stories. Also, I’m intrigued about how the characters face the seemingly intricate relationship between the ranks. I’m curious about this story, but I agree with you on this detail of correcting the errors.

The Vietnam War has always been labeled as horrific experience, as all wars are, to soldiers and to have this as the plot in a novel is very interesting and intriguing especially the aftermath or what the effects brought to the brave soldiers. I’m looking forward to digging into novel to learn and be informed.

I'm not big on war stories so I don't think this one's for me, but it's interesting to hear about a slow-paced war novel.

Ouch. Bad editing can ruin any book. I don't read war-related stories in the first place, but knowing about the poor editing makes it certain I won't be reading it. Thanks for the candid review.
