Thank you for your review. I'm not a fan of short poems as I much prefer epic poems. There does seem to be something for everyone though. Congratulations on BOTD!

I have never really been a fan of poetry, especially the ones with less rhymes (truth be told, I felt all poems should have rhymes, because that's the only way I felt I could enjoy them), not to talk of a book with ''101 poem '' ... I asked myself, "where will I start reading from?" I read the first three poems and was astonished by how touching each one of them were, and marveled by the creativity of Osmani...

I think I am going to enjoy reading this...
Thanks for this review, it was so helpful

Poetry is not my cup of tea. But the poems in this book dwell on various topics like gender, religion, death, broken families, and life passing by so I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Osmani seems to be a prolific poet to come up with poems that speak to different people. It is interesting that the sentiments in the book reflect in the review. Must be a truly thought provoking read. Congratulations on the BOTD.

This sounds like an emotional collection of poems. They may be short but their topics have so much depth. Congrats on the book of the day. Great review.

Thank you for this review. In as much as sometimes, I like poetry, I will pass on this. There are some set of people that believes adulthood is a scam. What they are experiencing is not what they expected from adulthood. I can vividly relate with the poem titled 'older' as pointed out by the reviewer.

This seems a very thought-provoking book, with varied topics in the poems. It’s intriguing the author’s observation about human’s feeling and how it turns out to be difficult to evaluate certain aspects, in this case about poems. Also, I’m glad to know about Osmani’s interesting writing style. I’m curious about each of the 101 poems in this book, and from what I read on the sample, I feel like I’ll have a great time.

I didn't enjoy all the darkness of the author's poetry - like reading a very cynical mind. I would do without putting all those cynical thoughts in me; I am skipping this book of poetry.

Also, the author recycles the same flower picture on every page; does anyone understand why?

I am not a big fan of poetry unless it tells a story. The title indicates that there could possibly be a profound meaning to the poems. I like how you gave an objective review.

I never read poetry books, but I like that both author and reviewer point out that while you may love one poem, you may be disappointed with the next.
