I loved the sample but your review really makes me read the whole novel, to see if the doctor managed to cure the little girl's cancer. Great job, both writer and reviewer!

The institute has given him six months to compile and submit his findings after terminating his study grant owing to a lack of funding.
How is it, that whenever someone wants to do something good, their grant or funding is taken away?!! Maybe that makes it all the more challenging. Don't give up Lucas, I'm rooting for you! An amazing review, thank you.

I love the characters in the book. Lucas is determined and persistent, and I hope he will be able to honor the promise he made to his mother. Nice review.

Luca's tenacity is unbelievable. He went through tough times, losing his mum at such a tender age and on the brink of losing his research position.
I hope he eventually succeeded in his quest to find a cure for cancer.
Congrats on the BOTD.

Lovely review. I love how the focus of this medical fiction is friendship, love and teamwork between the characters. Would definitely read this.

Promising to find a cure to cancer at the age of eleven on the edge of his mothers' grave is a serious premise to a book. "Mediary" by E.W. Johnson M.D is that book and it looks to be a very interesting one according to the reviewer. I would like to know more about how a free-wheeling girl and a priest convince our hero to try an unconventional and unauthorized cancer cure on a seven year-old cancer patient. I cannot wait to read this book!

Thanks for the review. I'm also curious about how the characters all come together in this medical fiction.

Definitely not my cup of tea, reading about ill children hits a bit too close to home for my comfort and I would like to avoid the story of hardship it causes for all involved. No offence, I will skip it, but congrats with BOTD, anyway!

I have read a lot of fictional books about people like Lucas who seek the cure for cancer because they loosed a loved one to it. Did Lucas succeed where few has? Did he keep to his promise? Interesting review.

Sounds like a book full of enigmatic mysteries. Still wondering what the title could mean.
