Your review captures the essence of resilience and growth amidst adversity, as Paul navigates the challenges of divorce and single parenthood. The Pinewood Derby serves as a powerful metaphor for Paul's journey, from hastily slapping together a car with his daughter's play tools to facing his fears and embracing vulnerability in front of his son. I'm already inspired by his courage and determination

"The Snow That Never Fell" by Paul Steven Stone. An interesting book talks about Paul Peterson, being a single father of three after his divorce with his wife. Paul never had a fatherly love, he never talks about his past. Paul's new life as a single parent was getting better each day. Congrats on your #BOTD.

Divorce is a difficult subject to tackle, as it is filled with pain, second-guesses, and longing for better times. As they say - been there, done that. The book seems very well written and I guess that the author has some experience upon which to draw his story, making it believable and heartfelt. Congrats to him on his achievement and BOTD.

Kids don’t ever understand what their parents do and people going through a rough divorce rarely even understand what they themselves do.I’m sorry that Mickey was disappointed. Congratulations on BOTD!

I really appreciated your review of "The Snow That Never Fell" by Paul Steven Stone. Your insights into Paul Peterson's struggles as a single father and his journey through divorce brought to life the emotional depth of the novel. The Pinewood Derby as a central plot device sounds both heartwarming and tension-filled, offering a unique lens into father-son relationships amidst life's challenges. Your recommendation speaks volumes, especially noting the book's professional editing and its appeal for a relaxing Sunday read. It's great to hear about a story that handles the nuances of adult situations with such care.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting story about Paul, a single father, that is dealing with a recent divorce and taking care of his kids. The book mainly focuses on Paul's relationship with his son and his coping with being single after the divorce. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I think I'm interested in a book like this that showcases the life of a divorced, single father, and his struggles and tribulations. What life lessons can anyone take away from this story? If I were divorced, would the challenges and events be similar to those narrated in the book?

This sounds like such a refreshing story. Most books and/or movies only ever focus on women after a divorce especially if children are involved. I enjoy that this book is instead focusing on the dad and how hard it must be to be a single father. Considering Paul didn't receive much love from his father, it's understandable to see how the period of divorce and parenthood would be hard on him. It seems to have a "coming of age" vibe but for an entirely different aspect of life. The review was insightful and I liked how you mentioned it would be perfect for the weekend, suggesting it's a cozy read.

This sounds like a poignant book. I haven't experienced divorce, but I think fatherly disappointments are what I would relate to so much. The title of the book is so good and begs for one to pick this book.
‘When you do a good deed, people are grateful, and that creates a nice feeling inside you; and then because it feels good, that makes you want to do more good deeds. That repetition is the cycle of goodness.’

Today's BOTD is a novel that follows Paul, a newly-divorced, single dad of 3 who's dealing with the challenges of fatherhood, while trying to come to terms with his own childhood with a dad who didn't show him love. Readers of realistic fiction and stories of parenthood, struggle, and growth will find this both relatable and inspiring. Thank you so much! This sounds so good!! :-)
