Thanks for the review. I haven't read the book yet but it sounds like it has an interesting story, a fast paced story about senior citizens and their nursing home is not the kind of story you get to read very often.

I like books that have time skips, so I think I'd like this one based on the premise and the description of the flashbacks.

Today's #BOTD sounds so good to me! I have downloaded my #freebook...thank you! The length is perfect, and it sounds like one I'll be able to read over the next weekend. Yay! It sounds like it's filled with both touching and funny moments, making it an engaging read for most people. Thank you so much for your helpful review...keep up the great work! :-)

Your review has me interested in reading this book. The part how the author introduces the character makes the book seem the most interesting to me. I love how the reader gets a peak into each characters past.

Sounds like a unique novel being that it focuses on the older residents of a retirement home. It is a shame about the lack of editing.

It appears favorable with a fun dynamic between Edith and Spiro. Great storyline I think. Would love to read sometime. Thanks

A HOME FROM HOME by Susan Barrett is a heartwarming fiction novel, about a crime in a prestigious nursing home, in London owned by Spiro. it is also a story to bring to light the different people in your life who you may have taken for granted. The writer did a great job in this book is lovely.

I would like to understand and know how to examine people and know who I should not take for granted. Seems like a book I should read. I enjoyed the review.

This story sounds like it really packs a punch. There is a crime subplot as well as tons of character development. I really like that even though there are sad moments it doesn't get too heavy and it is lightened up with some humor. I'm glad you enjoyed it overall. Great review!

Your review piqued my interest in reading the book. I’m looking forward to “meeting” interesting characters. On the other hand, I don’t think there are any acceptable reasons, in this day, to have misspelled words in a book. Was the book not edited or proofread, or was it a typesetting issue? In any case, it shouldn’t happen. I will still read the book though, because of your review.

This looks like a book that will touch many hearts. It's not my genre of choice, but I applaud the author for diving into the nursing home issues that all of us think about. Thanks for the review!

It sounds like an interesting book but I didn't really like the sounds of frequently flashbacks. So I think I am going to have to pass it on it. Thanks for sharing though
