Quite a review, good show. The title is wonderful,it speaks everything. The book is really adventurous being in the narrative it takes you far in seeing the characters involved and what it teaches on how to handle when facing challenges. Only the strong hearted survive.

Thanks for your good review. It was interesting to note that this was an audible read for you for the first time. It would be interesting to see if your review changes with a visual read. I am a huge fan of audible books, but most of my reading lately has been through electronic readers. I never thought before now about how the medium could change the review. Hmmmm.....

This sounds really good. I love Native American legends and archaeology so I'm sure I will like it. Thanks for the insightful review!

Thanks for the good review. The book overall sounds interesting though the ending sounds like it will be a bit of a let down. I'm going to read a few pages and see where it goes. But I'm sure that I'll give it a go.

I have to get that book now! I am curious as to what happens to Sarah.
Sometimes I like listening to audio books, however, my enjoyment varies according to the reader, so I rarely buy them.
Good review!

Sounds interesting--great setting and the "disappeared" aspect allows for some originality. Thanks for the review!

Gosh, I read so many beautiful reviews about this book, including yours too, of course. I can't wait to see how this book will unfold beautifully, from its natural history to its presence in the culture of the local people.

I can see this book going one of two ways for me; if it sticks with the lost / wilderness / adventuristic / survival aspects, we are going to be great friends! I'm excited to see where it goes.

I've never tried audiobooks and I'm not too keen on trying them. I am not a native English speaker and might have difficulty with the narrator's accent.

I have been reading this book for a while now and I am determined to finish it. I am now with Sarah.

Your review was so helpful and I'm so glad you mentioned the available audiobook...I LOVE audiobooks! Since I already have the kindle copy, I'm going to go back and add audio to my purchase. Thank you! I'm dying to know about this 8-day disappearance/adventure Sarah took! This sounds like a great choice for October's #BOTM...looking forward to some great discussions! :-)
