I would not have picked this book up, had it not been free. It is not the type of book I would really dig into. The concept of multiple emotional stories in one story is very interesting.

Thanks for the review! I've never read anything by this author before, but based on some of the comments listed here, I need to get on that! I also noticed that not everyone agrees with your review, which makes me want to read the book even more after reading different perspectives.

Thank you for the warning at the end of the review with regards to upsetting passages involving children. A really in-depth review but sadly not a book for me on this occasion.

Although the premise doesn't really capture my attention, from your reviews it sounds like a good book. I do like mysteries! Great review!

Religion, the law and medicine , on their own the three are already complex and complicated concepts as can be. I can't imagine the intricacies when the three mix and collide, and as you have rightly noted sometimes it is about faith, sometimes it is not about faith at all. An Interesting review for a complex plot

I like this novel because it seems like the author is trying to answer philosophical questions through a narrative. I like that the novel offers a broader and more detailed range of medical expertise. I like stories that delve into what is truth and what is not. I also like that this novel also makes the reader question who is telling these truths.

I like mistery in a story and not know who is who, I am still considering reading this book. But thank you for the review.
