Indeed, the subject matter is quite touching. Though I'm not particularly interested in after-death fiction, I like that this book springs hope, both for people struggling with cancer, and for their loved ones.

The sample made me think it was about a very imaginative little girl and I thought it was meant to be an amusing book. Then I realized the child had died and that sounded awful. Reading about the wonderful experiences she had after changed that, but your review tells me that's not the end. I'm glad it was helpful and meaningful for you.

Great review. I am glad you liked it. This seems like an interesting and engaging book that would be well suited to cancer patients and survivors. Nevertheless, ill have to pass this one. Thank you for sharing.

A life after death story is very touching one considering the fact that you're a survivor yourself. This book is quite an emotional one. Good you were able to go through with the review. Thanks for the review.
Feeling upset sometimes may be unavoidable, but acting distressed is always optional.

It sounds like this book has the potential to pulls on the heartstrings of all read it. Between the difficult subject of cancer, the concept of Unfinished Business after death, and what awaits us all eventually, this book sounds like a homerun for those that want a dramatic fiction.

Your review is vague and intriguing at the same time. I want to know what all the stages of Nicole's journey were.

I wonder whether the book helps readers deal with the concept of the death of a loved one.
You know you’ve read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend.

Today's BOTD, although fictional, sounds like one many of us will be able to relate to, as we have all wondered what happens after our time on Earth has ended. Not only does this emotional read have the potential to bring hope and comfort, but it also sounds like one that provides peace in the hearts and minds of the living. Thank you so much for your review - I have added this to my WTR list. :-)

Quite an emotional read. The author gives the reader many things to ponder...
If you are TOO BIG to DO SMALL things, then you are TOO SMALL to DO BIG things...

If you want to be remembered long after you are gone, WRITE books worth READING or DO things worth WRITING about...

This book looks fantastic, uplifting and emotional. I especially liked the opening chapter where Nicole watches the pig fly. Their conversation is engaging.

I'm afraid the PoV shift on the very first page (from Nicole to Rachel) lost me, but I'm glad you enjoyed it and found it a helpful coping device.

What an intriguing and moving take on post-death! The sample is beautifully and emotionally written, and I think many people will relate to Nicoles spiritual journey following her battle with cancer.

Although the pig does not look like one, the cover photo is funny and it intrigues me what role it plays in the novel. It seemed like a very moving story, full of drama and tears.

Thank you for the interesting review. You definitely helped clarify a few things for me that I was confused about reading the blurb. This book sounds like an emotional novel, and I'm not sure if it will be a good fit for me. I think that the journey aspect of this story will appeal to many. This sounds like a beautiful story but not a good fit for me.
