Having stumbled on some really good real time war stories. It can be the kind of piece one will long for. However, it also has a negative side because one can be weary of them... Love the simplicity in the review but do not think I would want to have a taste

Although I am not a fan of war stories, your review has me wondering if I should give today's BOTD a try! Based on a true story, this fast-paced, suspenseful narrative contains realistic, well-developed characters who stick together like brothers. Educational, entertaining, and packed with action, this one sounds like a winner!! Thank you!!

My husband was a 1st Lt in the Army, military police, during the Vietnam war. To be honest I really don’t want to go back to that era. We lost a lot of good young men and I just can’t read about it. Great review

This book seems perfect on all counts – be it editing or plot development. I'm not a huge fan of aviation/war stories, but your review makes me want to give this a go. Thanks for the review!

I’m not really looking for a book like this today, but the novel sounds interesting, especially for Vietnam War enthusiasts.

Didn't really sound like our usual war story or maybe because it's just a sample I think quite some suspense there all through I was asking myself what's rule number 4 :techie-studyinggray:

This historical fiction novel revolves around war stories with themes such as friendship, patriotism, and many more. I usually don't enjoy war stories, however, lovers of this genre may enjoy reading reading it. Thanks for the review.

The author speaks of having an experience different from what we are typically accustomed to seeing int he movies. It would be interesting to learn of his experiences. Thanks for the recommendation.

A fast-pace and suspenseful plot are some of the features I love in my stories. I like that the book shares some insights about how the military aviation unit operates. I'm adding the book to my want to read shelf. Thanks for your review.

A story about war. For those who have never experienced war may think about it like how it is in movies. It is far worse, believe me. A very good review. Kudos.

Was confused at first because it said it was based on a true story but was classified as fiction. After reading the overview it somewhat clicked. Not many books are available about day-to-day accounts of wartime from a soldier's perspective; at least one that's not sugar-coated as they say.

There were always light mentionings (pardon the faux word) about the negativity a lot of soldiers faced when they returned home. Not sure if there others but know this one didn't have a welcoming reception. It'll be an interesting read for certain but it's a pass for me.
