It is because this book is so different and surreal, that I feel it would definitely be just my kind of read. This review tells me just enough to get my interest up, and so I have added this one to my “must-read” list. Many thanks for your comments.

This book seems to have a really unique concept. Abi's world is truly out of this world.

Thank you for the great review.

Any book that makes you want to read it again is usually a winner. I'm not a fan of other fiction and I don't think this is the kind of book I would enjoy. Nonetheless, I'm glad it kept you guessing until the very end. Wonderful review!

Seems like a very complicated read  I'm glad to know you liked it, because I don't think it's my cup of tea :shifty: But just the same, I'd like to say thank you so much for sharing, I appreciate your insightful review! Best regards! :tiphat:

The review was extremely interesting to read but I am still not sure that I understand quite what the book is all about. A button maker for a character, but where and in what world or country? I assume that this is some sort of philosophical fantasy with connotations about accepted notions and set in a surrealist world. Whatever it is, it sounds interesting to me and I would like to read this book myself.

This book sounds fun, ridiculous and absurd at the same time. How could Abi be accused of "disturbance potential" when she finally got rid of nightmares which obviously did her no good? I like philosophical novel that keep you gessing till the very end but I've never read an absurdist one. That will be a first for me. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I think this an interesting premise. Abi’s world sounds like a strange but intriguing place. Wonderful review!

I love fantasy stories with unique plots. This sounds like a book that I would enjoy. I wonder what the crime of "disturbance potential" could be and if this story is really a commentary on our world today. The review was really interesting and well-written. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD.

Surreal is way out of my interests sphere, no matter how very unique the concept of this book is or how bery well it is written. Anyways I am sure it is just the matter of seconds to find your appreciative public.

In my opinion, there is enough absurd in our day-to-day live to add to it by reading this book. Although sur lovers would be ecstatic with it, it's totally not my cup of tea.

The plot is nothing I have heard of as yet: unique and intensely interesting. The book cover is creative as well. I would like to read this book!
