Thank you for the well written review. It is well detailed. From the book's title, I had thought that the author would focus more on developing Greta's character. It is thus disappointing to learn that her character is not so well -developed and relatable.

A romantic adventure with the well-developed and relatable characters in the book "A Woman's Prerogative" by Steven C. Brandt, which is about the relationship of Greta, the only daughter of the president of the Sadler Corporation and Alex Mackenzie, a professor at the University. Their paths become increasingly intertwined which makes story quite interesting.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

I also am surprised, with the title of the book, that Greta wasn't developed better. You did a great review, but I don't think this book is for me. Thanks!

A romantic adventure set during the Gold Rush seems to be right up my alley.

Thank you for the great review.

I read the first chapter of " A Woman's Prerogative" by Steven C. Brandt and I really enjoyed it. The characters are interesting. The storyline and descriptions are easy to follow. I like the genre as well. I am really looking forward to reading the remainder of the book.

I'm not really interested in gold mining but I could like this book for other reasons such as the good writing style and the depth of research. I'm definitely looking forward to trying it.

I am not keen to read historical romantic fiction. Also, the protagonists Greta's character is not well developed as the others, then it's a disappointment. I will pass this one. Thanks for the detailed review.

I was immediately attracted by this book's title, and the review confirmed my expectations - it seems like an interesting read. The portrayal of a knowledgeable, assertive businesswoman with political ambitions sounds appealing to me. Thanks for a great review.

I found the sample compelling. I liked Alex promptly and initially resented Greta for her haughtiness. I wonder if she'll redeem herself later in the book.

Like you said, I too am not a fan of typical treasure hunting sagas. So, I didn't think I'd enjoy this book. But You've made me curious about it. Now, I want to read it and see if I like it too. Anyway, your review is great. Your attention to detail is shown where you noticed the contradiction of Reinhold's name in prologue and the first chapter.

Nice review, sounds like an interesting read, I'm a big fan of Romance and this particular one mixed with adventure and historical roots makes it appear more Merry. Greta and Alex seems to be good pairs. I look forward to reading this book

Interesting story. I love the gold rush history included in the story. Pity about the female lead's character not being well developed in relation to her main counterparts. The romance is an added bonus that spices the story.

I took something from this title that is completely different with reading your review. Thank you for your honesty and precise review! I like historical fiction and I would like to understand and see if Greta us that relatable. I'm hoping that this book does not disappoint and look forward to finishing it!

Thank you for the super thorough review! I’m in the market for a good adventure story, though I can’t say whether hunting for gold would be my first pick. However, this stunning review helps me to think twice!
