It sounds like this one had potential but didn't meet it. The flaws in continuity of the writing would be irritating, as would the page number problem. Thanks for the review.

After reading this review I couldn't help but notice that this book had a lot of setbacks, most of which I found quite odd, but I still found myself greatly interested in reading it. It surely has some valuable lessons to be learnt and I'm all for that.

This book appears to have great potentials given the important life lessons it contains. It is my hope that the author fixes the inadequacies it contains in order to improve its readability. Thanks for your review.

While I like the plot in this story, I'd rather wait for a revised edition before I read it.

I hope the author considers the observations of the reviewer in good faith.

It's very nice that the characters were developed so well. The relationships and events sound complex and multi-faceted. It's too bad about the apparent lack of proofreading and the inconsistencies. Additionally, I was a little put off by the disturbing topic of pedophilic relationships displayed pretty early in this book, so I don't care much to continue. I'm glad you enjoyed it though! Thanks for a great review.

Its books like this that make a dad like me want to know every situation my daughter is in before she is in it. Congrats to the author. Nice review too.

While the topic of the book is always a matter of interest and there are some credible characters in it, I have to agree with the slopiness that you noticed. From the very first pages, after we are informed that Brenda’s third child was a girl, Anna, the author refers to it as ”him”. Also, the style was a little abrupt and dry, like some homework for a writing class.
I appreciate the fact that you read and objectively reviewed the book and also found some good points in it. Pedophilia is a terrible matter and people should be on guard against it by any means, so I hope this book also helps someone.

This book sounds a bit confusing. The plot seems to have lots of twists and turns, a changing cast of characters, and the page numbering issue would be quite off-putting to me. Great review at the end of the day! :D

After reading the review I am intrigued. I believe in family relationships and it seems that this book is based around family, where I may be able to connect with or learn from this book. I also enjoy some mystery and the on going questions about what some of the characters may know about the disappearance or specific details of other characters in this book keeps me focused. I am generally not to worried about the page numbers however if the characters get jumbled it may seem it might get a bit confusing but overall I think this would be a great book to read!

Surely, the book needed an honest rating. But I love the storyline, especially the relationships surrounding Ron. Thanks for the review anyway.

An interesting review of what sounds like a rather complicated plot, with a lot of characters and situations which they find themselves in. Personally, have almost no idea as to what the actual theme of the books story is, as it seems to address so many issues, from hidden life secrets to the problems of paedophilia. The writing sounds vivid and very lively, and I think lovers of romance and perhaps a bit of intrigue will certainly enjoy this book, if the editing and the continuity issues are resolved. Your review was very compelling.

Although the pedophile theme is quite heavy to read about, this book is an informative and easy read. I think that issue with the page numbers would not be a problem.

"The new tenant at number 18" got me intrigued. This seems like a good book in need of proper editing. Thanks for the honest review.

This book is not for me. The confusion cited in the review is evident in the sample that I read. The writing is filled with poor punctuation, confusing text, and, as the reviewer stated, interchanged character names.

I was sad to read the downsides of this book as they indeed sound like they could be rather distracting and confusing what otherwise sounded like a story I would enjoy... May still put it on my 'to read' list :) The review was a good read in itself, thank you! :)
