Hello, My Love by Evy Journey is the first book in A Family Saga Series. There are two more book's in the series that I am very interested in reading now that I have finished reading this one.
This book really kept my attention and I was very intrigued by what was happening with the characters. I absolutely loved this book. I really could not put it down.

Elise Halverson is a very beautiful, driven, headstrong woman who knows exactly what she wants in life. And she has worked very hard to make sure that she succeeds in her professional goals. She loves her job and has worked hard for her accomplishments. She goes to school and works in the legal aid office and she has everything planned out for herself. Then one day while visiting her father, a economics professor, she is introduced to a tall, dark, and handsome man whom she immediately distrusted based on his reputation and who little did she know would one day become a fixture in her life that she couldn't ignore. Even as she tried her very best to create a distance between them and is very hesitant to form a friendship with him.

Greg Thorpe is a well known playboy and owner of a growing Internet business that was doing well. He is also engaged to the beautiful and poised Lori Williamson. Despite this though he seems like a very lonely man. He also has his life planned out when the unexpected happens and he sets his eyes on the beautiful ,intelligent Elise Halverson. He must get to know her better, it's like a need. But, she is very reluctant to form any kind of friendship with him. So he must us his boyish charm to try his very best to win her over. He just knows that she is meant to be in his life in one way or another. Eventually the unbelievable happens and they become more than acquaintances and become very close friends.

This book continued to impress me by adding a little complexity to their story and I found myself wondering what would happen next. They came together briefly only to be forced apart by circumstances beyond their control. Situations arise and the only way to handle them are by being apart. Elise finds herself leaning on her parents more than she ever has before to get through a difficult situation. Trying to find balance and stability in her life again. And Greg follows a different path to get his life back on track.

What I liked most about this book was that the author went back and forth between Elise's and Greg's point of views. And I really liked that the author would show snippets from the past and how their friendship evolved into something more. What I disliked most about this book was that it takes the main characters a good while for them to find their place in each other's lives and even when they finally are able to do that more drama comes knocking at the door and difficult and dangerous situations occur.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
This book really has it all!
There is something in it for just about everyone. If you like romance, drama, suspense and a little mystery then this is the book for you! The author really kept me interested throughout the whole book. It was a real page turner!

We'll see a romantic love story develop by looking back on the past from when they met to them becoming friends and then see where they start to become more than friends. This story also gives you suspense and mystery and will have you wondering where this story is going and what will happen next. All through the book, as Elise and Greg go through some pretty difficult times trying to find their way back to each other I find myself hoping that by the end of it my new favorite couple will get their happily ever after.
