What do you think of the The Jefferson Bible: The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth? Have you read it? If so, what did you think?

I have not read it, but I intend to read it soon.

In essence, Thomas Jefferson did not believe in Jesus' divinity, the Trinity, the resurrection, miracles, or any other supernatural aspect described in the Bible. He made his own Bible by compiling parts of the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in chronological order. He left out any supernatural parts or talk of miracles, and made it into one single narrative. What do you think?

I like a lot of the teaching of Jesus as recorded even though I am not at all religious. I'm sure many Christians might frown upon what Jefferson did. But it seems to me like a good way to spread the secular teachings of Jesus to all people and not just those who believe he was a supernatural messiah.

I've read it. Very well put together. I've always admired Thomas Jefferson,
But I would say to anyone who has not read the Bible yet to read it first, then read the "Jefferson Bible". You don't have to be religious to read the Bible, there is so much beauty in the Bible...adventure..love..lust..loss..war,wisdom..poetry..song. The Bible has a weebit of everything in it. The "Jefferson Bible" is a very good read, excellent concept. But I prefer the "Holy Bible" over it.
