THE SPIRIT OF WANT

I'm pleased by this novel "The Spirit Of Want" by William H. Cole as he reveals in real life the way break ups and love relationships affects family.when Luke was invited by AJ at the clubhouse in Atlanta,he was in a situation of choosing wheather to love the one that showed interest,Elizabeth,in him or the one with preaty face,Lucy,whose mind occupied somewhere else but he ended up choosing the latter.At the end,Luke was reduced to love the one who showed interest in him when he was abandoned by his wife.On the other hand Lucy was attracted so much to her career than her family,this caused her to break her relationship as she was attracted to reverend Hower Bain and left for Ghana.There in Africa she felt insecure about Bain's characters ,of hooking up with any willing grown up women,and later returned to Atlanta only to find out that her family and her friends had turned against her.She felt guilt and only tried to please her daughter who was missing momy love by purchasing gifts for her with the minimum amount of money she could get after working for Maria since her accounts had been locked by AJ, her father,who felt it was worthy for her adulterous nature.

Jennifer, the daughter to Luke and Lucy,was diagnosed with leukemia and she was addmitted to hospital from where her mother met her after being informed by Elizabeth.She later died after suffering for so long.Her mother regreated why she wasn't there for her daughter but decided that after the burrial she won't associate with her family.Later on she had kidney failure,aftet being poisoned in Africa earlier,and she needed one from a live person.Luke said he won't help her,for what she had done to him,even if he was compatible with her,after being informed by Bain.Elizabeth was left in dilema ,wheather to give her one of hers and either have uncertainities in her future life or to leave Lucy to die.After strugling to find someone who could donate kidney,she eventualy died with her promise of helping Luke and Elizabeth who had turned up their mind to help her.
In the real life ,we are faced with challanges in relationships wheather to choose those who love us or those who aren't interested in us but capture our thoughts,who will you choose? since if we choose those who aren't interested in us they end up disgracing us and if we choose those who love us we feel we have missed our love targets,in the example of Luke.

I think this novel may be appealing to married people and those who are in courtship.Through out the reading I haven't encountered any grammatical or punctuation error and the plot of the book was excellent as it was flowing from the beginning to the end I hereby rate 'The Spirit of want' by a William Cole 4 out of 4
