'Carry Me Home' by Terri Wiltshire. Set in Alabama in the early 1900's, and modern-day, this tells the story of Luke and Canaan two victims of the age they were born in, and their struggle to overcome the slings and arrows that come their way. A great great book that is poignant, funny and will stay with you a long time.
