The Devils Fire: A Pirate Adventure by Matt Tomerlin

I downloaded this to my Kindle as a free book to read just hoping it was good enough to hold my attention. I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it! It gets a bit violent and racy in spots but it is very well written. The characters are well thought out and interesting. I can't wait to read the second book in the series now.

Has anyone else read it?

I just picked up the second book in the series, The Devils Tide. It is free right now on Amazon. It does pick up right where book one left off.

I just finished the second book. I really enjoyed them both. I don't know if the author is going to write more, but I hope he does. He is very talented for this being his first two books.

BTW, knowing what I know now, I would have paid full price for these two. They are great reads!
